Week 3
Your wound is starting to heal!
If there are no openings in your wound, you are ready to begin using the ScarSmooth™ System.
Right after you shower, when your skin is dewy, apply the Silicone Scar Stick over the scar. Once absorbed, customize and apply the Scar Tape. Reapply with vibration up to 2x/day. You can reuse the same tape for 5–7 days.
Month 6
Look at you go!
Your scar has reduced in size and thickness, and the redness is beginning to fade. Treatment can be reduced to 1x every 24 hours.
If your scar is not reducing in size, see a dermatologist or plastic surgeon to rule out a hypertrophic or keloid scar.
Month 12
You're doing great!
You've made it to 1 year, and your scar is healing nicely. Remember, scars are not fully mature until 24 months. Stay committed, you've got this!
Month 24
You did it! Your scar is mature.
Scars are not fully mature until 18–24 months from the date of injury. Scar healing can take up to 2 years.
Three steps: the Silicone Scar Stick, the 24K Gold Vibrating Beauty Bar, and medical-grade Scar Tape.
It is designed to help soften, smooth and fade the appearance of scars, and to help soften and flatten raised scars. If you are unsure which type of scar you have, a dermatologist or plastic surgeon can help.
Only on healed wounds with no openings. Start therapy about 3 weeks after surgery or injury.
After cleansing, apply a thin layer of the Silicone Scar Stick, massage with the Beauty Bar for 2 minutes, then place customized Scar Tape over the scar for up to 23 hours daily.
Reapply up to 2x per day. The same piece of tape can be reused for 5–7 days.
Scars are not fully mature until 18–24 months from the date of injury, so healing is gradual. Stay consistent and follow the timeline above.
Avoid sun exposure or apply SPF 35+ directly on the scar. The Protector SPF 40 is a good companion.
See a dermatologist or plastic surgeon to rule out a hypertrophic or keloid scar.
